Class 7

We are called the ‘Eagles’ as we encourage the children to aim high.
Our class consists of 16 boys and 16 girls. The class is led by 2 teachers working on a job share basis. Mr Craddock is one and the other is Mrs Hemingway. Mr Craddock works Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays and Mrs Hemingway works alternate Wednesdays , Thursday and Friday.
This works really well as both teachers specialise in different areas and have different strengths.
Mr Craddock mainly deals with Literacy, PE, PHSCE, ICT and matters relating to our school garden area.
Mrs Hemingway deals with Numeracy, Science, Art, Music and Humanities.
We are ably assisted by 2 lovely TAs – Mrs Ward and Ms Hepinstall – who work really hard with all the children.
We have been joined this year by Mrs Emson who works closely with one pupil in particular but then shares her expertise with other pupils.

This term we are focusing on World War Two and a visit to Eden Camp has been arranged.

Our class is also doing a lot of work based on the Garden area and a Gardening Club will be formed in the Spring Term (mainly from this class)
