Dear Parent

RED NOSE DAY

Many thanks for all your contributions to this years Comic Relief. We have raised an amazing £586.54 through the sale of red noses, Primary Post and your voluntary contributions.

Comic Relief works tirelessly to support some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and around the world. Any amount of money raised is gratefully received.

Thank you to all the children who came dressed as their favourite comedy character from television, film or literature. The winners were:-

1st  Mrs Doubtfire Lydia Hinchliffe  Class 5

2nd TV Burp  Brett Chalkley McGill Class 2

3rd 118 118 Jak and Billy Lomas Class 8 & 4

The winner of the Talent Show was:-

Grace Wood, Teigan Price and Faith Goss for their superb dance routine to Ice Ice Baby.

And finally the bit you have all been waiting for! ……….Mr McClure, Mr Netherwood and Mr Brookes suffered the indignity of the custard pie. Photographs of this will be on the school web site.

All in all we had an enjoyable afternoon, thank you again for all your efforts.

Dear Parent

‘ROBIN HOOD AND FRIENDS’ PRODUCTION

I am pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the above production which will be performed by our Drama Club pupils and members of the choir. The dates and times are listed below:

Friday 01 April Dress Rehearsal 2pm

Monday 04 April Afternoon Concert 2pm

Monday 04 April Evening Concert 6pm

This is an amazing production where pupils have worked extremely hard for numerous weeks. I feel sure that it will be a most enjoyable performance and although your child may not be a member of the cast I hope that you will support this event.

Please note tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis and will not be limited, however maximum audience capacity has to remain at 120 places.

         Please note the following:

· Doors will open 10 minutes before the advertised start time; please do not arrive before then.

· Parents with pre-school children should attend the dress rehearsal which is specifically for them. Please note: pre-school children will not be permitted to any other performance.

· To ensure a good view for everyone there will be a maximum of 120 seats.

· Dress rehearsal tickets will cost 75p; others will be £1.50

 No tickets will be available at the door.

· The performances will start promptly at the time advertised; latecomers and those without tickets will not be admitted.

Please complete the pro-forma overleaf to purchase your tickets. Raffle tickets will be sold at all three productions to help raise our school funds.
