LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Dear Parent
It has been agreed with the Governing Body that from September 2010 Leave of Absence for holidays will only be considered in extenuating circumstances.
Each individual application for leave will be considered on its own merit. Applications for leave which are supported by an employer’s letter explaining why the holiday has been taken in term time will only be considered if the pupils’ attendance is above the national average of 94.6%.
Please read overleaf for policy and procedures regarding taking holidays in term time.
Failure to comply with the Headteachers decision may result in a Penalty Notice for each child taken out of school in term time.
